Hi,
Using CME and 7906 phone in the lobby area.
Like to configure a auto-dial number to the reception number say ext 2000 once the 7906 phone in the lobby is off-hook.(something like a plar).
Any one has any idea to accomplish this ?

You can create a courtesy phone using the Cisco CME intercom feature. You can configure and IP phone with only a single line where that single line is an intercom. In this case, when you lift the handset off-hook, the only possible line selection is the intercom line. This line is selected, and the phone autodials to the configured intercom destination. Ex.
ephone-dn 1
number 1000 (example DN)
intercom 5000 label Reception (example reception DN)
ephone 1
mac-address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx
type 7906
button 1:1
Try that and see if that gives the desired behavior.

Hi,
Actually found the answer :
on the ephone config; add auto-line "x" - x is the intended directed number.
On ephone-dn :
intercom x
Thanks for all the help.
