new vlans on network, can i now remove vlan 1

Hi all, im in process of moving my clients off vlan 1 to new vlans, the switches are also in a new management vlan, can I remove vlan 1 from the uplinks ?

Hi

Yeh u can remove the vlan 1 from the trunk links,but all u r VTP etc traffic still flow through vlan 1.

make sure on your uplinks that your native vlan is not VLAN 1 anymore.
