hi we have two wireless 1310 bridges with external antenna's.
if we power off the unit then power back on the wireless does not come back and we cant get associated. after a few resets this may then come back.
we are running version 123-8.JEA
is there any issues with this code do you think?

We have the same setup. No issues.
Have you upgraded to the latest code? (several revs higher).
What is your signal strength when it is working? Could trees be in the way (spring time causes leaves to grow)?

hi,
thanks for the response, no trees at all in the way, we have 100ft masts up on both ends and line of sight (well through a telescope that is), not end antennas as well. full power.
what code are you running on your bridges and will upgraded mine to the same as yours.

We have been running:

without issues and recently upgraded to:
12.4(10b)JA3 (latest version)

When the radio is running and you have a maintenance window, if you run:
1) "dot11 dot11radio 0 linktest"
2) Then do "show dot11 linktest" to get the results
You should get a generic rating (example - "POOR (30% retries)" in the top left. What is your rating and retry rate?
If you are showing POOR when you are running with a high retry rate, it could be the antenna alignment causing no associations on bootup.
