Hi

Do I need a SMARTnet agreement for downlod of software or is it free?

According to the At-A-Glance you do NOT need SMARTNet for downloads. If you go and download the software it does require you to login so you will need to create a CCO account (which is free and can be started at http://tools.cisco.com/RPF/register/register.do)

Hi

Thanks for response.

I have create an account but when I choose the product under download software the is still a lock and I cant go further.

I belive I need additional access.

I choose option "Purchase Direct from Cisco" and then it ask me about "Purchase/Sales Order Number, Customer Number" that I not have.

I bought the switch via web and all I get was the bill/invoice from the webshop.

Kind if you could help me.

Hi ,

For downloading IOS and other stuff from cisco site check your contract with cisco for your network for commercial purpose.All downloading stuff genrally relates with contarct purchased with cisco for that customer.
