Hi, I downloaded a sample MRTG script ages ago and tested it on some Catalyst 3550's & 3560's using ip sla (saa). The OID's in the script were:

jitter .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.5.2.1.7.1&.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.5.2.1.17.1

RTT .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.5.2.1.2.1&.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.5.2.1.2.1 & .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.5.2.1.1.1&.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.5.2.1.1.1

Packet loss .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.5.2.1.26.1&.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.5.2.1.27.1

I apologise for my lack of SNMP knowledge in advance....

Hi,

Thanks for the information.Actually I am also new to this field of Network Management.I am drilling through the OIDs but not getting exactly what to pick up...I am picking up the oids from the rttMonLatestJitter table.

I tried the oids you mentioned.Only the thing is the end .1 which u specified for evry oid it shows no mib information when i query.help me on that to understand

Thanks for the help

Hi, as I said apologies for my lack of SNMP knowledge. I can post the MRTG script I used however there isn't much more in it apart from the values to graph:
