Hi,

Is there a way to calculate bandwidth used purely by MGCP signaling over a WAN link.

Hi Mohsin,

Cisco recommend for 50 users on a site that you have 12kbps (generally 250bps per device) for signaling. This is your CS3 traffic.

As for voice bearer (ie the conversation) - you need 80kbps for a G711 call or 24kbps for a G729 call - this is marked EF.
