We have a main location with a 3750 we are using as a core switch. We have vlan 2 defined for voip. voip is using dhcp. we have 8 branches, i have defined a vlan 2 in the 2801 router at each location. (connected back to main via mpls vpn) router forwards dhcp requests back to main site. Am I going to run into problems with the same vlan number at branches and main office? especially when data from branch voip vlan 2 will be traversing core switch...

No you should be ok there as well as long as you have setup the DHCP scopes on the Server correctly for everyone of those sites. I assume you are using the ip helper-address configuration at the remote site.

No, you shouldn't have any problems. Since the sites are separated by layer 3 (MPLS) connection the VLAN # should be transparent between the sites. Think of it as two separate layer 2 domains.

Each vlan 2 gets an address from a Microsoft DHCP server, even though they have different subnets, would this have any affect on the Microsoft DHCP server to give out addresses?
