Hi all, with isdn bri in the uk, as its 2 channels, can we have 2 phone numbers associated to each channel ? and when routing through an isdn bri, if I want to bring up both channels, do i need to type ppp multilink, or does it use both by default ?

You can have several routers coming on a single PRI interface with either 1 or 2 channel. While the PPP negotiation is taking place, both router will decide whether or not to use the PPP multilink. I guess you were referring to the below link and in that example what they are mentioning is that on the BRI side, you aggregate few BRI interfaces into one dialer interface and do all your configurations under a single interface.
