Just out of curiosity I am wondering why my xlation rules arent working...


I have setup xlation rules as shown below but each time I try to test it, I get the below error from the router...

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 /455000/ /5000/ type any unknown

rule 10 /455000/ /5000/

!

voice translation-rule 45500

rule 1 /455000/ /5000/

!

!

voice translation-profile to_455000

translate calling 10

translate called 10

!

voice translation-profile to_aavm

translate called 45500


Router#test translation-rule 1 to_455000

Translation Rule 1 is not defined

Router#test translation-rule 455000 to_aavm

Translation Rule 455000 is not defined

Router#test translation-rule 10 to_455000

Translation Rule 10 is not defined

Please use "test voice translation-rule XXX ZZZ".


Note if you just want to strip 45, you rule can be written more concisely as:


rule 1 /^45/ //
