CSS - Cannot access real servers IPs

Hi!

I have a couple of CSSs with some servers behind.

When I try to access the real IPs of the servers (by pinging), I get no answer. However, when I try to access the VIP which represent the servers, I get replies.

Any ideas?

This could be expected behavior depending on your topology.

Does the CSS somehow advertise the server subnet to the upstream router or share an interface in that subnet?

It sounds like it does not, in which case what you are seeing is normal.

We had the same issue. I had to put both interfaces behind the CSS and create contents for the specific services.

with CSM u have to creat a separate server farm for managemanet access and make it forward any
