Option 43 and CNR 6.2.3.1

I'm having a hard time setting up option 43. The standard command in nrcmd gives the following output.

nrcmd> vendor-option

322 Feature not supported - incompatible cluster version

nrcmd> vendor-option

322 Feature not supported - incompatible cluster version

nrcmd> help vendor-option

500 - cannot open help file /opt/nwreg2/local/docs/nrcmd/vendor-option.txt

It doesn't look like vendor-option even exists on this version. It looks like the command is now 'option'.

Anybody got any ideas.

You would normally add option 43 in the ip DHCP pool configuration, supply the rest of your DHCP config?

Hi sdbrockme,

Try the command option-set rather than vendor-option, like the example below:

nrcmd> option-set aironet1200 create 8-bit vendor-option-string="Cisco AP c1200"

100 Ok
