Essentially you will make schedules and partitions and route to those partitions based on the schedule you create.

Here is a good link to get you started.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/4_1_2/ccmsys/a03tod.html

after i created all necessary Time Period, Time Schedule, Partition and Calling Search Space. How it will auto redirect the call to voicemail instead of hearing ringing tone at calling party ?

If configured correctly it will done based on your TOD schedule. If you have it set for after 6 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday to route to VM then that's what it will do.

Hi Chee,

Just to add a note to the good info from Matt (5 points for your recent contributions here Matt :)

Check out this this excellent presentation on Time of Day Routing supplied recently by Tom (it includes a great step by step and examples);

Rob, once again you have contributed some extremely valuable information here. 5 Points!! Are there any other tutorials such as the one you have posted? These are very well made and would help enormously to learn about those technologies I have yet to implement.

Thanks Again!

From what my understanding..

1)create time period(s).

2)create time schedule.

3)associate time period(s) to time schedule.

4)create a partition (if don't have any)

5)associate time schedule in the partition.

6)And finally, assign partition to a DN.

is this the correct configuration process ?

correct me if i'm wrong.

Thanks

Allen

Here is a document that I created a while ago when I was still on the TAC, and prior the training videos, hopefully it will be of some assistance:
