Hello, with iso of cisco unified communicator version 6 do not boot. What is a problem? We have followed all the steps of the manual to generate only one file but once we have recorded the file to DVD this it is not bootable.
Thanks.

if this is for a NEW install i assume you did read the NON-BOOTABLE statement for 6.0 and 6.1 downloads
UCSInstall_UCOS_6.0.1.2000-4_part1of2
Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.0(1a) part 1 of 2 (non-bootable) - For upgrade from 6.0(1)
UCSInstall_UCOS_6.1.1.2000-3.sgn.iso_part1of2
Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.1(1a) part 1 of 2 (non-bootable) - For upgrade from 6.0(1)
if this is for an applicable upgrade
6.0(1) to 6.0(1a) or 6.0(1a) to 6.1(1) what do you get when you try the upgrade?

Yup, if it's not the original software, its not bootable. The download from CCO is not bootable. If you purchased an upgrade or went through the Product Upgrade Tool, Cisco will ship you the bootable discs

Thanks for you request.
We have the version 4 and have selected a service contract to be able to the last version (6.1) but cleary, CCM4 is windows and 6.1 is linux. We want to do the migration but we want to see if the version 6.1 that it si possible to unload is bootable, that it is not. Cisco should send to us the DVD bootable with the software?
Thanks.

yeah, unfortunately we do not provide the bootable files for this.
Refer to our PUT (Product Upgrade Tool) to make your request for the upgrade kit.
