Guys,

Please I need assistance with this setup.

We have a 2811 that we are trying to configure as an MGCP gateway to interface a Cisco CCM into our Nortel Meridian PBX

Currently the E1 interface remains down, and in an alarm state

I will appreciate if ther is any documentation to use for this particular Nortel PBX for integration with CCM 4.2 using MGCP gateway..

Hi Deji,

We tested using the following protocols, ESS5,NI2 and D100 (DMS-100).

The only one that has ever worked properly for us was DMS-100! .

How about any docs in how to integrate a 2821 with a nortel 11c. In this case the 2821 will emulate network for the nortel.meaning that when nortel phones dial out to the pstn..they will go out to the pstn via a pri in the same 2821...also when an inbound call from the pstn needs to be routed to a nortel user, the did will come from the same pri at the 2821. Any configs will be greatly appreciated.

Hi

You mentioned E1 so i assume you are in europe, i have this setup with CCME working. The router config may help i at least know the basics here are correct.Ill also attach the pinouts for a cable to a dual PRI card.

BTW the T203 timer was crucial to getting the circuit up and running.
