Cisco CME - contact center applications

Can the Cisco CME system only use the Unified Contact Center Express solution for small/medium contact centers or are there other solutions that are compatible/able to integrate?

There is what I think is called "call connector" for CRM 3.0" that drives the application to the account that is calling and let you do few other things. This is a free download, never tried personally.

The there is the TAPI client that works with Outlook and is paid for product.
