Passed CCENT today!

Unanswered Question

I'm excited, I passed the 640-822 exam this morning! I scored an 831 and was nervous through out the exam.

I'm expecting some training equipment next week to start studying for the 640-816 exam. Does anyone have any pointers on what the second exam hits hard on?

I have this problem too.

Congratulations! booking my ICND1 within the next month.

From what i've read, the ICND2 targets OSPF, EIGRP, IPv6, VSLM, STP and has stacks of configuration, configuration and i guess stacks of subnetting on top of that.

Which book did you study from to pass the ICND1? did you use cisco equipment to get hands on experience?

I used a Cisco 851W AP. I also used the network simulator from Boson and the CCENT training from CBT nuggets. All were very helpful with the training I did not know. I've ordered 2 2503 Routers and a 2912-XL Catalyst switch. I hope it's enough to cover what I need for training and taking the test.

I've read a lot of people have had probs with ACL questions, so I'd be proficient at them.

ICND2 hammers you on STP, VLANs, EIGRP & OSPF and NAT.

It is NOT an easy exam. You must understand the concepts and rely on memorizing answers.

Know your subnetting and summarization.
