Monitoring and Record with IPCC 4.0

Unanswered Question

Hi! We have IPCC 4.0 (co-located with CCM) and some phones which are connected to different switches (2960, 3550, 3560), and we need to use a record agent call feature. I think that is necessary to set up the VoIP Monitor Server and configure the RSPAN feature on the switches. But I have some questions...

Which port I need use to collect a sniffed traffic? Is this interface only that connected to secondary port of the CRS server (where Voip Monitoring Service was started)? And, can I activate this port, if CRS and CCM are on the same server?

I have this problem too.

supervisor does the monitoring. However, there are two forms of monitoring.

- SPAN based, where the SPAN/RSPAN feature of LAN switch forward the RTP packets to VOIP Monitor.

- Desktop based, where the CAD forwards the RTP packets to the VOIP Monitor.
