Automatically Request time out from 3550 swtich

Hi,

We have 6 switches connected back to back. Out of that, 2nd switch from top has the following problem.

Automatically user not able to work on a particular switchport. We have tried to ping gateway but result is request time out. Also tried to change the vlan but still we are not able to ping gateway from that switchport. There are 4 to 5 such ports where we are not able to ping gateway. This is randomly happen.

Attached is the shtech for that switch.

Is there any bug issue?

Kindly help me out.

As per your scenario You can use IP traceroute to identify the path that packets take through the network on a hop-by-hop basis. That command output displays all network layer devices that the traffic passes through on the way to the destination. Threw this command you can troubleshoot from where it fail to ping the network.
