Hello,
we drop viruses and spam messages o the Ironport gateway server (following the advice of the Ironport consultant that guarded our implemantatation)
HAM is only reported back to Ironport when it's realy a big mistake, spam or gray are ot reported back.

Hello,
Steven is absolutely correct with what actions you should take on these threat messages coming into your gateway, however I believe you are referring to the actual plugin for outlook or notes.
This tools allows you to report on messages that have already been delivered to the client. If they choose Spam/Not Spam/Virus or Phishing message on a highlighted message then the message is sent to IronPort for analysis, if you choose Spam/Virus/Phishing it will also delete the message from the inbox and place it into a folder within the Deleted Items.
Everything else is kept in the inbox.
Hope that covers everything if not sorry for forum spamming :)
