Adding VG224 ports through BAT on CallManager 4.2(3)sr2b

Can I add VG 224 ports through BAT? If yes let me know brief procedure.

I heard it is possible in VG248.

Hi Kiran,

Sadly this is not supported until CCM 6.x;

The version of BAT you are using does not support adding the VG224 :(

Symptom:

BAT does not support adding VG224 ports in bulk

Conditions:

This is for all version of BAT and all current version of Callmanager 3.x, 4.x, 5.x up until 6.0.1

Here is an example of what the .csv does look like in BAT 6.0.1 for the VG224

The following sample format shows the required field length and string types followed by sample of CSV files for a Cisco VG224 gateway.

MGCP Domain Name(Mandatory, 1 to 64 characters),Description(Optional, up to 100 characters),Slot(Mandatory, up to 3 numerals), Subunit (Mandatory, up to 3 numerals), Port Number(Mandatory, up to 3 numerals), Port Description Optional, up to 50 characters),Port Directory Number(Optional, up to 24 numerals and special characters)

Thanks for the response.But can it be added through auto-registration.Tried below but did not work -

1. System >> Cisco Unified CCM >> uncheck â€œauto registration disable on ...â€ .Configure auto registration range and partition. Clicked update and reset devices. Is clicking "reset devices" necessary as it resets other registered phones?

2. Default device pool points to correct CallManager group and CSS.

3. The default device pool is pointing to a Callmanager group in which â€œAuto registration CallManager is selectedâ€ is checked.

4. Configure below dial peer on all ports on VG224.
