I have several buildings on our campus that we are looking at installing ip phones in. The problem is the existing fiber to these buildings is only Multimode and is over 1000 feet which is too far for Gigabit over multimode. Are there any 24 port POE 802.1af switches available that have 100fx uplinks?

It looks as if the Cisco Catalyst 3750-24PS is a valid solution.

I have used a lot of those switches where I needed gigabit uplinks, i.e. 1000LX or 1000SX, but I didn't think they made a 100FX SFP? As far as I knew the SFP's were limited to gigabit only.
Is there such a thing as a 100FX SFP?

Ahh i see what you are saying. Here is a compatibility matrix on the 100FX SFP.
Based on the matrix the 3750 does support the GLC-GE-100FX with the right IOS.
If you look at paulo's thread in ip telephony, he makes a good point with the 2960s. They are cheaper, support POE as well as support for the 100FX SFPs. Just depends on what type of switch you want at the access layer and performing what duties.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know you could use a 100fx sfp in a gig sfp slot on a 3750 or 2960. That solves my issue, 5 points to both you and paulo.
