Solved: vms 2.3 performance issues

Hi,

I have just installed VMS 2.3 on Solaris 8. The server is with 2GB RAM and 4GB SWAP.

I have serious performance issues with VMS, for example, opening the "Management Center for VPN Routers" screen takes 1-2 minutes.

I tried to improve the performance by removing the "IPS Management Center", but still VMS is really slow.

Would you please give me some advice about the problem?

You must stop all processes, then restart again . I think this will work.

I have restarted the processes a few times.

Could you please advise me to look for logs or other indicators for installation/configuration issues?

Although I have strictly followed the install guides...

Hi guys!

It was a connectivity issue. The switch port was configured with 10M duplex full settings. The throughput to the sun server was 10kbps!!!

After configuring the port with duplex auto speed auto everything was OK.
