Is it possible for MeetingPlace Express 2.0 to integrate via LDAP to Active Directory? We don't want to manage 2 user databases.

Oh yeah, we currently have CUCM 4.2 that doesn't integrate with AD.

yes, MPX can be fully integrated in Active Directory.
we have integrated both, CUCM 6 and MPX.

Does the integration stay in synch? For example, I assume users are able to log in to Meetingplace Express using their LDAP username and password...
...if the user's LDAP password happens to change, will Meetingplace Express pick up those changes?
My understanding is that you can do a 1 time import of LDAP information into Meetingplace Express, but any subsequent LDAP changes are not reflected - it is not passthrough authentication / single sign on yeah?

since CM 5.x the integration of external LDAP directories is achieved by AXL SOAP API to your CallManager. Hence, if you have a working LDAP integration of your CM, you really have single sign on even with MPX. Callmanager do not synchronize user password, instead he authenticates again the external LDAP directory. That's why userid and password fields cannot be modified through MPX.
hope this helps! if so, please rate!

Do not be confused on other people's replies. MPx 2.0 will integrate with the Active Directory on the CallManager/Communications Manager servers. And the CallManager/Communications Manager servers must be linked to your companies Active Directory on your domain controllers.
There is not direct path to integrate MPx AD with your companies AD. You must first integrate callmanager's AD with your companies domain controllers and then MPx can integrate with the AD of your callManager servers.
