Is it possible to run an LACP etherchannel with a PAGP etherchannel on the same switch?

I have a HP switches on a blade server which only support LACP and my current environment only uses PAGP. I am testing this on a 3x 2970 with 12.2 IOS in a mesh.

Hi Jason,

You can select the channel-protocol when you create the ether-channel on the interface level similarly to this:

interface fa1/1 - 4

channel-protocol pagp

channel-group 1 mode desirable

So the "channel-protocol [pagp | lacp] is not a global config command.

The "port-channel load-balance" command is a global config command. You can't configure load-balancing on a per interface basis, it is valid on the whole switch.
