3750 - magic number mismatch

I am trying to upgrade a 3750-24PS. No matter what image I try to upload I get a error when booting.

flash:/<IMAGE_NAME> magic number mismatch: bad mzip file.

I have tried every single 12.2(25) image I can find on CCO and they all return the same error.

Anyone seen this before?

I have seen this before on a different model 3750. I ended up calling TAC and received an RMA for the switch. Before that, here are the steps I went through:

1. verified the image (verify flash:/image_name

2. ran fsck on flash

3. formatted flash completely

4. copied image via xmodem

none of these steps proved successful im my case.

Yepp, done all of that for each image. Looks like I might have the same issue. :(
