I have tried to use this feature of ASA 5510 email notification but it somehow cannot work. Is it a product problem? Or something I missed out.
What I have do=>
I have defined the SMTP server.
I have specify the SMTP recipients for destination address
I have specified logging filters enable with the severity I wanted.
What did I miss out still as there is no email notification even if I specify the filter to be warning.

have you check if the e-mail is enable already under configuration->device management->logging->logging filters? Did you see any logs with your smtp server dropping port 25?

I enabled email and specify the logging severity to warning too. So there should be alot of emails coming in. But there is just no email received. I have a firewall guiding my SMTP server and when i view the logs there is no traffic.
For the source email address did you need to specify anything.
Destination email address : i put my email address that i wanted to send to
Logging severity: Warning
Specified SMTP server ip address
Did i miss out anything.
