I have just passed my CCNA and am thinking about starting CCNP studies. Can anyone recommend the best books and training materials available?

I have this problem too.

I personally think the Cisco Press books are your best resource. They are kind of dry reading in comparison to other texts, but I think they cover the exam topics well.

CCbootcamp.com also offers training classes for the CCNP. This is a more expensive route than buying the books and self-studying, but if you have someone sponsoring your studies this might be the way to go.

Hope that helps,

Jim

Also, check out the Lab Companion books from Cisco Press. They are full of great lab material for hands-on practice.
