Hi people,
I have an issue here, any suggestions?
When calling from Siemens phone to Cisco phone, the "ring back" tone level (before called party is answering the call) is lower than calling from Siemens IP Phone to Siemens IP Phone.
We can't mesure the decibels but seems to be (earing point of view) 50% of the normal Siemens to Siemens call.
I've already changed the "Output Attenuation" in "Product Specific Configuration" of S0/SU0/DS1-0@CVGWSL01
but seems to have no effect.
Here our config :
Siemens optipoint 500 Phone --- Siemens Hipath 4500 PABX --- Q.SIG PRA ---- Cisco 2811 voice gateway --- Cisco Call Manager --- Cisco IP Phone 7940
Our config details :
Product : Cisco 2811
Gateway : S0/SU0/DS1-0@CVGWSL01
Device Protocol: Digital Access PRI
Cisco Callmanager version : 4.1(3)sr1
thanks

Hi,
Not a lot of bug details...but i will check the isdn q931 debug.
So what to do about it then if PI=8?

Don't bother, it's just a random bug like that poster often does.
What you can do, adjust the output gain a little, under voice port.
