Hi all, for all types of broadcasts, layer 2/layer3 etc, do they always use ffff.ffff.ffff ?

Hi,
Layer 3 broadcast may be 255.255.255.255 (for example when you are requesting an IP address with DHCP).
When you have an IP address Layer 3 Broadcast is the network broadcast (for example if you have network 192.168.0.0/25 the network broadcast is 192.168.0.127).
I hope this helps.
Best regards.
Massimiliano.
