When Upgrading WLSM to WiSM can you do this in a phased approach or is it the big bang approach? (Can you have both controllers running at the same time during migration with some APs going to WLSM and others going to the WiSM?)

Thanks.

A migration strategy from the Catalyst WLSM to the Catalyst WiSM platform includes planning and execution of these actions:

1)Plan for and install the Catalyst WiSM.

2)Install the Catalyst WiSM platform.

3)Install the Cisco Wireless Control System (WCS) network management platform for the Catalyst WiSM.

4)Migrate the configurations from the Catalyst WLSM to the Catalyst WiSM-based platform to continue support of all lightweight and converted autonomous access points.

5)Train the support personnel on the Catalyst WiSM platform and solution.

6)Clean up the legacy configurations when the migration is complete.
