Could anyone help me reset the config password of 7960? I bought the unit from Ebay, I got the phone reset to factory default already and I don't know the default password. Anyone? Thanks.

I've found this doc from a service provider offering a VoIP connection via SIP.
http://www.hablavoip.net/download/manuals/Guida%20Cisco%20CP7960_rev1-0.pdf
It is in italian, but you can easily see at top of page 5 it says the default password is "cisco".

what do you mean for the 7960 config password ?
which settings are you trying to change ?
To unlock network settings you may use the **# code.
