Need help configuring port for full 1000. speed 1000 but duplex is set at auto. How do I change it?

you put the command "duplex full" in interface configuration mode.

I believe only full duplex is supported when speed is set to 1000 mbps. Hence, it should already be doing auto-full duplex with 1000 speed. The following CCO link seems to suggest the same.

""Setting the Interface Duplex Mode

Note When the interface is set to 1000 Mbps, you cannot change the duplex mode from full duplex to half duplex.
