We have a CuC 1.1 client and they have old licenses without this tag in it, so they can not upgrade to 1.2 without getting a new license or changing languages to something other then US English.
Is getting a new license with this tag easy? I am dealing with licensing and gave them all our licenses and MAC addresses and getting the runaround.
If we do the workaround, and install another language and change people from US English, can we change the users back and use US English language after we are upgraded to version 1.2? This system is in the US so uses US English only.

Hi Erik,
I was working with two people in December who ran into this issue. Both received the new file and were good to go. I might try this other route to see if you can speed up the licensing;
send an e-mail to connectionmigration@external.cisco.com.

Rob, Thanks. I saw that email in the document but didn't try it. I just resent the email to that email address instead. Let's cross my fingers.

This worked, they sent me a license with the tag in it. Thanks!

Hi Erick,
Good work! Nice to hear they came through so quickly. I guess now you have to do the upgrade (hope it goes well :)
Take care,
Rob
