3750G WAN Switching

I have 4 3750 all on remote sites with fiber connecting. Each site has a different ip ranges.

3750 1 172.10.x.x has asa5510 Head end

3750 2 172.11.x.x

3750 3 172.12.x.x

3750 4 172.13.x.x

All switches had same vlans on them

I was told cant do this due to the different subnets so I re did the vlans.

Making them all different including vlan 253 mgmt vlan.(not sure I was Suppose to do this)

When I physically connect all the switches back to switch 1 switch ones network goes crazy. Unplug everything is fine.

The end result is I need all switches to connect to switch 1. From there they will all receive there inet.

I am missing something simple I know any help would be much appreciated.

If they are all fiber connected, then build switch 1 as the main switch and create VTP domain, and make switch 1 the server for vlan's.

Build a trunk port to all the other switches and make those in the same vtp domain, and make those switches client mode.

Then in switch 1 build your interface vlans, as well as the vlan database. Make sure you allow all vlans to propigate through the trunk ports.

This way you can administer vlans from one location. The default gateway will be the interface vlan ip you build on switch 1 for each host/device connecting on that vlan.
