How to send notify MWI message to IP phone through CCM or CCME

I will use SIP to write a small code, which can send a notify which contain "Message-Waiting: yes" to CCM or CCME, then CCM or CCME can auto send NOTIFY to IP phone and make the lamp on. How do I accomplish that?

Hi Richard,

just call the MWI-on-DN with calling party number, where the MWI should be activated.

Example: You want to activate MWI at DN 2000, MWI on DN is 8888.

Call (through a SIP-Trunk e.g. with Asterisk) the 8888, CUCM will switch on the MWI at the 2000 phone.

Hi,Axel

I have achieved MWI through TSP or CME-TSP,for CCM or CCME. Like you say, just call MWI on DN. But,there is an issue,if I want the application used in CCM and CCME envrionments at the same time, I need to install and configure TSP and CME-TSP for the application. I guess if application can directly send NOTIFY message to CCM or CCME and make lamp on/off, I can drop TSP and CME-TSP.Do you have some good idears?
