Backing up CDR SQL tables in CCM 4.1.3

Unanswered Question

I need to run searches within the CDR table occasionally to trace calls placed by extns etc.

Our CDR seems to keep records for about 6 weeks before dropping them and I dont wish to change this.

What I need to know is how can I take the CDR table and save it as a text file which I can then transfer/store off of the CCM server.

In this way I would be able to store ALL call records on an archive to search whenever I may need to.

I have this problem too.

I've resolved this issue using the bcp utility.

I've created a local package under Data Trnasformation Services in MS SQL Server Enterpise Manager which periodically called for the bcp utility to store data from a SELECT on a file (then zipped).

On demand, I restored the file on a temporary db, and made the queries.
