hello everyone,

i want to configure pix firewall to hide my servers real ip address from the internet , so i use static translation .

now i configured my pix firewall (7.2) to do that with this configuration :

static (inside,outside) xx.xx.8.45 192.168.8.45 netmask 255.255.255.255

and also I've configured access-list to allow traffic initiate from outside to inside .

it seems that everything working probably , but now when i check it with command : "sh nat" the result is this:

NAT policies on Interface inside:

match ip inside host 192.168.8.14 outside any

static translation to XX.XX.8.14

translate_hits = 13842, untranslate_hits = 17951

what 'untranslate_hits' means ?

thanks in anticipation
