Factory reset on 1760

I need to know how to reset a 1760 router back to factory defaults. I've just inherited it and have downloaded the SDM configuration tool but still not managed to connect to it. I have managed to login using hyper terminal but that is as far as I have got. Any help very welcome. Cheers Andrew

Hi Andrew,

If you can have console access to the router, just do "write erase", and then reload.

That sorted it, and I managed to get SDM working. My only problem now is that I managed to erase IOS by accident. But unable to download from Cisco as it wants me to have a contract. Really stuck now. Thanks for all your help so far. Cheers Andrew
