CM 6.1 using extention mobility - but when you come to reset the phone device to which the user is logged in error "no associated devices to restart"
Find user - highlight device - reset, to no avail
You can reset the device on the phone itself
Any ideas? thanks in advance

Hi Nick,
Try searching for the Device via Device >Phone >Device Name >Contains > enter the phone Mac or maybe even Description >Contains
Once you find the specific phone you can do a Reset :)

Hi Rob, many thanks for the reply.
What if the MAC was unknown as it is remote? but can only find it on the user name?
Would have thought by finding the user and resetting the device from the user - unless what you said is the only way

Hi Nick,
The problem is that the User does not have "ownership" of any specific device as shown by this return;
"no associated devices to restart"
You will need to find another method to identify the Device itself so you can Reset via the Device>Phone page in CCM. There must be a Description entered against this Device that you could search on? You should be able to narrow this down.
