Ciscoworks log needs to increase the size of the event log from default of

We have Ciscoworks running that has collected events from a 3750 switch which has had some errors (>10,000) and this has filled the event log.

How do I view the additional events or do I need to increase the size of the event log for this problem ?

It seems that Ciscoworks knows about the additional events but I don't know how to view these additional events

TIA

To what event log do you refer? A screenshot might be helpful here.

This is the error:

SLCA0131: There are more than 10000 records generated for this date range.

Only 10000 records are being displayed, starting with the records generated on the end date.

Problem is, there were way more than 10,000 records generated on the day from the device so we can only see the first 10,000.

This happens when I select Report Generator -> Syslog -> 24-hour report

thanks

There is no way to increase this limit. It is hard-coded. You will need to define a custom report, or choose fewer devices at a time to limit the number of records to 10,000 or less.

is there a way to view the >10,000 records ?

thanks

Exporting the report should allow you to see all of the records.

thanks
