7961 + VT Advantage + Extension Mobility = problem?

I have a very annoying problem with the following setup:


7961 phone

VT Advantage II camera and software on laptop (which is attached to the phone)

Call Manager 5.1.2

Extension mobility


Several times a day I find that any outside number I dial from the phone returns a busy tone or sometimes the local telco's "your call cannot be completed as dialled" recorded message. I know the number called isn't really busy - this happens if I dial my own cellphone. If I logout from the phone then log back in again, and redial, the call completes no problem.


The issue relates somehow to the VT Advantage software, I think. If I disable that starting on the laptop, I can run for days without a problem. The problem starts again shortly after starting the VT Advantage software.


I've checked I'm running the latest version, I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the software, reinstalling the camera drivers, etc - no change. I've swapped out the hardware (phone and camera separately) I've removed the configuration from Call Manager for the phone, the user, etc, and recreated them all - no change.


If anybody has suggestions what I should might next I'd appreciate them!
