POE for Aironet 1131 on Catalyst Express 500

Hi all,

we are using 3 AP Aironet 1131 (Version 12.4(10b)JA3) in a WDS. All are connected to a Switch Catalyst Express 500 to receive their Power. The Problem is they work for some time and the the AP reloads without further errormessage.

Speed and Duplex mode are fixed on Switch and AP-Side. Does anybody now this problem or can give me a hint?

This can happen if power settings are configured incorrectly on the AP. Ensure that the correct parameters are configured. Here is a link which explains how to configure power on APs.


Also, try disabling CDP and check if you are seeing the issue again.

thanks for the hints, but i found the issue: The problem was a damaged network cable. After exchanging the cable, all is working properly.
