1 Router with 4 serial ports. Use this for your frame-relay switch.

3-4 routers with at least one serial port and one Ethernet port. You can use 2501 routers.

4 - DTE/DCE serial cables.

With this setup you can work on any technology frame-relay, routing, (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).

If you get routers with more serial and Ethernet ports you can do back-to-back serial for PPP, standby links, etc.

That 6509 is probably overkill for the CCNA (and is probably running CatOS which isn't relevant to the CCNA). Looking at your setup, you will need to add several routers (at least 4 for the CCNA and probably 6-8 for the CCNP). For those routers, I would look at 2620's outfitted with WIC-1Ts. The 2620's have an advantage over the 2610 and 2501's (as someone else recommended) as the 2620's have Fast Ethernet interfaces.

Your other two switches should work fine. I might also suggest that you get a terminal server (2511 w/ octal cables) and a frame switch with at least 4 serial (maybe you use your 6509 for this?)

Good Luck!
