Hi All

I'm having trouble with a translation rules.

I created the following rules :

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 /^8/ //

!

voice translation-rule 1111

!

voice translation-rule 1112

rule 1 /^9/ //

!

voice translation-rule 1113

rule 1 /^8/ //

!

voice translation-rule 2222

rule 1 /91900......./ //

rule 2 /91976......./ //

!

!

voice translation-profile CALLER_ID_TRANSLATION_PROFILE

translate calling 1111

!

voice translation-profile CallBlocking

translate called 2222

!

voice translation-profile OUTGOING_TRANSLATION_PROFILE

translate calling 1111

translate called 1112

!

voice translation-profile PSTN_8_OUTGOING

translate called 1113

!

!

but when i try to test them by using :

test translation rule 1 01604123456

it reports "translation rule 1 not defined" and the same on all the rules.

Any ideas?

Regards

Anthony

Just a follow-up for completeness.

There were (still are) "translation rules" but are being replaced with the more robust voice translation-rules.

The new voice translation rules use use the pattern matching capabilities from Unix SED utility.

Now, does anyone want to map out the history of RTP priority, FRF.11, LLQ, etc QoS mechanisms? (semi-serious.)
