E-mail notification problem on DFM 2.0.10

From time to time, DFM stops sending e-mail notifications. I have to stop and start CiscoWorks daemon manager to resolve the problem. Does anybody know what is causing the problem and how to resolve it? Are there any particular processes I can restart instead of restarting CiscoWorks daemon manager? Thank you.

This could be my bug, CSCso28593:

Symptom:

Device Fault Manager does not send any notifications even though new alerts and events are properly being displayed in the Alerts and Activities Display

Conditions:

This occurs in DFM 2.0 after upgrading to DFM 2.0.10 as well as in all versions of DFM 3.0.

Workaround:

There is no workaround.

A patch is available by calling the TAC.
