CER Licensing

If I have 1000 IP phones in callmanager, will I need 1000 user licenses in CER? I really only want to track 200 of the 1,000 phones.

I cant seem to get a straight answer from anyone.

Hi,

I am not much aware of CER, however logically speaking the license should depend on how many phones you want to monitor.

Thinking from a different angle, if its possible on the CER to configure manually which IP Phones you want to track then 200 license should work.

You may also look forward to talk to cisco SE and get this clarified.
