Hi,
Although I have asked these question in my two earlier posting I still need some assistance understanding working with RJ21 interfaces on a Cisco 6509 switch.
I have tried to find documentation on these type of interfaces on the Cisco site and lese where but nothing so far!
I am greatful if someone could point me to some documentation on working with RJ21 on 6509 since I need to create some PVLANs on it. All i know is that each interface supports 12 ethernet ports!
Regards,
Mike

Like RJ-45, RJ-21 is just the physical interface connector used. Configuring the interfaces on it is no different than on a blade with normal RJ-45 interfaces.

so, its just a matter to go under the interface say 5/1 through 12 and assign those 12 ports say to a community PVLAN?
nothing extra? no special considerations, restrictions? etc?

Mike
