Hello,

We were upgrading the C350 device from OS version 5.5.1-011 to 6.1.0; after pressing reboot the device didn't come up again and the ping doesn't response.

Yesterday we made the same upgrade on another device and everything was ok.

if you have faced this problem before, what might be the reasons? if a
reversion of OS is needed, can you refer me to the proper KB article,
this would need to be done remotely.

thanks and regards

Some systems due take a little while to get to a point where the systems can safely reboot. If you don't suspend and drain the email from the systems it is still processing during the time it downloads, installs and copies the configuration over. The systems will protect itself in this situation.

Your actions are correct. Pinging the system during the upgrade process will get you the indication that the systems did in fact reboot eliminating the guess work. As always if the system is taking to long to run its reboot cycle then your first action is to call Customer Support. At that time a Support Engineer will advise you of the direction to take.
