How to use public IP in the inside network

Hi,

I have cisco 5520 in my office. Now due to one situation I want to use public ip directly in my inside network.

I want to give one public ip address directly to my server.what configuration i need to do to get the server access from both inside and outside network.

please assist to resolve this issue.

This will do the trick...

same-security-traffic permit intra-interface

global (inside) 1 interface

nat (inside) 1 0 0

static (inside,inside) netmask 255.255.255.255

Hi

Add a static NAT to your firewall,its resolves your issue

static (dmz,outside) "public ip " "your internal ip" netmask 255.255.255.255

if you don't mind post your configurations.i will change your needs
