Hi all, is it possible for phones to only communicate by mac address if they dont have an ip address, we have a system with this config. how does it work ?
The phone can't communicate without the IP Address. You must behaving a DHCP server through which the phone must be getting the IP address if you have not configured it manually. If you have UCM 6.X then its capable of running DHCP server as well.
